Orientbell Jaisalmer Round Dots Tactile Floor Tile

Inspired from the golden sands of Rajasthan, the Jaisalmer Round Dots Tactile tile brings warmth and functional beauty to public spaces. Embossed circular dots are employed at intervals to guide visually impaired individuals by touch, especially along public spaces such as metro stations, bus stops, and car parks. The tactile markings serve to advise pedestrians of approaching danger or points of decision like stairs, crossroads, or platform edges. Frequent placement along railway platforms, pedestrian crossings, or turns, they form a non-mapped navigation system. Constructed as a dense, durable 15mm thick tile sized at 300x300mm, it combines traditional terracotta yellow with modern practicality. The tactile dots are engineered for clear sensory feedback, while the tile’s robust build ensures it withstands heavy foot traffic. Perfectly designed to be paired with directional or plain tactile tiles, it helps create inclusive wayfinding systems. This tile is distinct from plain or directional tactile tiles to create intuitive wayfinding paths. Whether bordering platform edges or forming decision points in pathways, the Jaisalmer tile turns inclusive design into an architectural feature, offering both form and function in equal part.
